Master of Divinity Program
Bachelor’s degree required
- Submit a completed application (includes Unity Institute Code of Conduct).
- Submit official transcripts from accredited institution.

Submit a statement of information, an essay of 1,000-1,500 words that includes:
a. Biographical information.
b. Reasons the applicant would like to be admitted into the M&RS program.
c. What the applicant hopes to achieve from the M&RS program.
d. How the applicant expects to use the degree/diploma in the future.
Essay should be double-spaced in a readable font of no less than 12 points and give evidence of skills in writing capable of sustaining graduate-level work. - Submit a nonrefundable application fee of $50.

Submit three letters of reference:
a. One letter from applicant’s minister or spiritual leader.
b. One personal (nonrelative) reference.
c. One letter from someone familiar with applicant’s academic abilities (or a second personal reference).

Diploma in Unity Ministry Program
Completion of Academic Demonstration and application and acceptance into the UWM Ministry Path required.
- Be accepted into the UWM Ministry Path, which includes an Academic Demonstration and application.
- Submit a completed application (includes Unity Institute Code of Conduct).
- Submit evidence of an Academic Demonstration.
- Submit official transcript from all colleges/universities attended directly to Unity Institute Admissions Office.

Nondegree Programs
Note: Courses taken for audit are not eligible for transfer into a regular program of study.
Individuals with a bachelor’s degree may take classes for credit or audit by following these steps:
- Submit a completed application (includes Unity Institute Code of Conduct).
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended directly to Unity Institute Admissions Office.
- Submit a nonrefundable application fee of $50.
Individuals without a bachelor’s degree may take classes for audit by following these steps:
- Submit a completed application (includes Unity Institute Code of Conduct).
- Submit a nonrefundable application fee of $50.
